已故严伯贤老弟兄追思会留念照片点滴J.B Bro. Yam pass away(18-22/10/2011)

敬爱的已故严伯贤老弟兄在世寄居82载，他遗留下有4位养儿女,内外孙有5位。已故严弟兄乃是通过他的养子Steven Wong 有福气听信而顺从神的福音，于2004年8月1日受浸归入基督。已故严弟兄在新山主的家庭里，与弟兄姐妹们有7年多的相处，大家都非常怀念着已故的严弟兄。已故严弟兄于18/10/2011 星期二安息主怀 ，其家属决定在新山聚会所停放5天，于星期六22/10/2011早晨10.30am从新山聚会所出殡至新山中华公会焚化场火化。因此从星期三晚至星期五晚8pm有连续3晚的追思会，以及星期六早上9.30am最后一场的追思会后，10.30am才出殡。天上的神有应许每一位基督徒，他的一生，既是从受浸归入基督开始，至死忠心于神的，就必会从基督里得着生命的冠冕。愿我们学习那些在主里有好榜样的信徒，他们的一生在主里经历了困苦，病痛，信心的磨练，仍然在主的真道上站立的住。他们是我们学习的好榜样。愿我们每一位信徒持续在主里面忠心，以新生命荣耀神。

Our beloved Brother Yam passed away at the age of 82, leaving 4 adopted children, and 5 grandchildren. He believed and was saved through the effort of his adopted son, Bro. Steven Wong. In the year 2004, he was baptized on August 1, into Christ. In Johor Bahru God's family he enjoyed fellowship for more than 7 years, leaving nostalgia. He went to be with the Lord on 18/10/2011, Tuesday. On Saturday morning (22/10/2011) he was cremated. From Wednesday to Friday there was 3 consecutive memorial meetings. After the last memorial meeting lasting from 9.30am to 10.30am, he then departed. For those who are faithful after being saved God promises the crown of life. Let us learn from those who show good example, for they experienced hardship, sicknesses and faith trials without wavering. Surely Bro. Yam is a good example to us. May we continue in faith and glorify God.

一年一度的华人中秋节活动，对于学生们来说，他们特别的喜爱。因为当天的活动不只是提灯笼而已，我们还办了一系列的活动节目，包刮唱诗表演，益智游戏，余兴节目，我们还有大约半小时的简短信息分享，当晚的信息是讲论“耶稣是世界的光”，主耶稣向众犹太人宣称自己的世界的光，是世人的引导者，主耶稣所要带给我们世人的有真理的光，道路的光，生命的光，因为主耶稣向世人保证祂是道路，真理，生命，惟有通过祂，世人才能有福气得进天堂。“光”对世人来说，是非常重要的，没有了她，将会是走错路，做错事。古时中秋节的来临，人人都需要灯笼照耀前方的路，今世的世人都需要主耶稣的真光照耀他们的人生旅途。人的一生有了主耶稣的引导，将会是更美好。

Annual mooncake festivals delight the young. Besides lantern lighting, we have a song presentation, mind games, leisure programs, and a brief talk. The "Light of the World" talk took a half hour. The Lord Jesus declares to the Jews, Himself as true light, shines on our path and life; guiding all mankind. He guarantees Himself as the Truth, the Way and the Life to enter heaven. Light ensures correct pathway and keeps one on it. A lantern may light up one's pathway yet the truth lights up the path of life's journey. Live more abundantly with the Lord.

居銮黄美玲老姐妹追思会(Sis. Wong Mee Ling Memorial Meeting)21-23/5/2011

已故黄美玲老姐妹在世享年86岁，她共有7位儿女，却只有一位女儿涂庆莲姐妹在基督里。她有孙16位，真孙9位，享有四代同堂的福气 。已故黄美玲老姐妹于20/5/2011 星期五安息主怀，21/5/2011星期六晚上8pm有追思会和22/5/2011礼拜天中午12.30pm有最后一场的追思会。22/5/2011 下午1.30pm出殡至古来火化厂火化。当天的追思会乃是由潘春发传道负责主持，只是第一晚有来自永平教会的余根剑弟兄作英文的翻译。

Deceased Sis. Wong Mee Ling lived to the age of 86 years old. Of her 7 children, one daughter Sis. Tu Keng Lian is in Christ. She had 16 grand children and 9 great grand children, therefore enjoyed the privilege of housing 4 generations under one roof. Deceased Sis. Wong Mee Ling went to be with the Lord on 20/5/2011 (Friday). The memorial meeting was held on 21/5/2011(Saturday) 8pm. The final memorial meeting was on 22/5/2011 (Sunday) at 12.30pm. The funeral procession was on 22/5/2011 at 1.30pm in the Kulai crematorium. The memorial meeting was hosted by preacher Bro. Phua Choon Huat. Bro. Vincent from Yong Peng assisted the message interpretation on the first night.
